Daniels Leisure Travel - Terms & Conditions

RESERVATIONS

To make a reservation, visit www.DanielsLeisureTravel.com, call us at 512-287-0844, or email samantha@danielsleisuretravel.com.

IDENTIFICATION

Reservations must be made under the exact name listed on your government-issued travel documents. Fees may apply for any name changes after travel documents have been issued.

PAYMENTS

  • We accept payments via PayPal, credit/debit cards, checks, and money orders.

  • Checks/money orders must be received 60 days prior to travel and made payable to: Daniels Leisure Travel LLC 17309 Lathrop Ave, Pflugerville, TX 78660 (Include trip name or invoice number in memo line)

  • Phone payments are accepted with a valid card.

REFUNDS

All payments and deposits to Daniels Leisure Travel LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable due to contractual agreements with vendors.

ROOMMATE MATCHING

Available for international tours only. Matching is based on 75% payment completion and shared interest. Participants will have two weeks to confirm a match after receiving compatible profiles.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

Travelers are responsible for valid documents. Passports must be valid for 6+ months after travel. Non-U.S. citizens must verify entry requirements with their consulate. U.S. cruise passengers are strongly encouraged to carry valid passports.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

Travel insurance is highly recommended. Coverage includes cancellations, delays, baggage loss, medical emergencies, and more. For Caribbean, Mexico, and Cruise Tours, insurance can be added during booking. For all others, we provide referral links for purchase.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

  • E-documents are emailed 30+ days before departure, provided final payment is complete.

  • Paper copies can be requested for a $30 mailing fee (no P.O. boxes).

CHILDREN

  • Children under 18 must travel with an adult.

  • Minimum ages vary by tour: 6 months (most), 12 years (Europe, South Africa, Dubai).

  • Adults must carry notarized parental authorization letters when traveling with minors who are not their children.

PRICING

Prices are per person, based on shared occupancy. Excludes personal items, insurance, non-included meals, and optional excursions. Prices may change based on availability or errors and are subject to re-invoicing. Written cancellations within five days of a price change qualify for a refund.

PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Deposits: Required and non-refundable.

  • Full Payment: May be made at any time.

  • Late Payments: Incur a late fee (see tour description).

  • Reinstatement: Canceled bookings may be reinstated within 14 days for a $50 domestic / $200 international fee.

  • Last Minute: Reservations made within 30 days of travel require full payment within 24 hours.

  • Form of Payment: Accepted forms include credit/debit cards, bank checks, and money orders. Payments within 30 days of departure must be by card.

  • Returned Checks: Subject to a $50 fee.

  • Refunds: If travel insurance was purchased, refunds may be processed minus the insurance cost. Otherwise, vendor cancellation policies apply.

  • Cancellations: Must be submitted in writing via email with full name, invoice number, and travel date.

  • Reservation Changes: Subject to $50 fee plus supplier charges. Airline name changes may require full rebooking.

TRAVELERS WITH DISABILITIES

  • Travelers requiring assistance must notify us in advance and be accompanied by someone who can assist.

  • Tour staff are not responsible for individual care.

  • We reserve the right to deny participation if adequate accommodations cannot be made.

  • Escorted tours may require walking over uneven terrain.

Wheelchairs & Walkers

  • ADA compliance applies to U.S. tours only. Some features abroad may be inaccessible.

  • International tours may not accommodate wheelchairs or scooters on coaches or ships.

Service Animals

  • Cannot be accommodated on international escorted tours.

AIRLINES

  • Daniels Leisure Travel LLC is not liable for airline changes, delays, or penalties.

  • Airline tickets are non-refundable once issued.

  • Early ticketing may require advance payment.

  • Seat assignments are controlled by airlines.

  • Name changes post-ticketing may incur full ticket costs + $50 revision fee.

  • Baggage is subject to airline size/weight restrictions and fees.

Frequent Flyer Miles

  • Not guaranteed. Eligibility is determined by the airline.

TSA Requirements

  • Accurate passenger details are required. Daniels Leisure Travel LLC is not responsible for denied boarding due to incorrect info.

ARRIVALS, DEPARTURES & TRANSFERS

  • We do not wait for late arrivals. Travelers must arrange and pay for missed connections.

  • Arrival transfers are valid up to 1 hour after scheduled arrival.

  • Delays may require alternative arrangements at your expense.

  • Transfer costs are not refundable.

ACCOMMODATIONS

  • Rooms are typically twin beds with private facilities unless otherwise requested.

  • Hotel bed types are not guaranteed.

  • Hotel substitutions may occur.

  • Check-in is after 3 PM; check-out before noon.

Hotel & Cruise Profiles

  • Descriptions and star-ratings may vary. Accuracy is not guaranteed.

MEALS & DIETARY REQUESTS

  • Meals are as listed in itinerary.

  • Beverages not included unless stated.

  • Special dietary needs should be submitted in writing 4 weeks prior to departure.

SIGHTSEEING & ITINERARIES

  • Tours may require early starts.

  • Participation requires punctuality.

  • Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, holidays, or closures.

  • No refunds for missed or altered activities.

CRUISES & SHIP CHANGES

  • Cruise itineraries are subject to change without notice.

  • No responsibility is taken for cruise line changes.

Medical Services on Ships

  • May not be available. Medical costs are your responsibility.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

  • Vaccinations may be required. Check CDC and WHO.

  • Costs related to medical incidents or removal from group travel are the traveler’s responsibility.

LUGGAGE

Airlines: Checked bag size usually 62" (L+W+H), max 50 lbs. Fees apply. Tours: One suitcase + one carry-on. Extra bags: $100 each.

TIPPING GUIDELINES

  • Drivers: $5–$10 per person/day

  • Tour Guides: $10–$20 per person/day

PASSENGER AGREEMENT

Must be completed before travel. Acceptance confirms agreement to:

LIABILITY RELEASE

Daniels Leisure Travel LLC is not liable for third-party acts, delays, natural disasters, or loss. All travel is at your own risk.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Travel may involve risk of illness, injury, or death. Participation confirms your understanding and acceptance of these risks.

ARBITRATION CLAUSE

Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Austin, TX under Texas law. By accepting, you waive your right to a jury trial.

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

By booking, you confirm that your participation is voluntary and informed.

PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE

By participating, you grant Daniels Leisure Travel LLC permission to use your image in promotional materials.

WEBSITE USE

Use of www.DanielsLeisureTravel.com constitutes acceptance of these terms. We are not liable for errors, site outages, or linked third-party content.
