Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the trip price?
Round-trip flights from IAD, all hotel accommodations (DC, Accra & Cape Coast), private group transportation, all attraction entry fees, welcome dinner, naming ceremony, and professional tour guide throughout.
Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?
Yes. US citizens need a valid passport (6+ months) and a Ghana visa. You also need a Yellow Fever vaccination card. Your travel team will guide you through the process.
What is the refund policy?
The $300 deposit is non-refundable. Final payment cancellations are subject to vendor policies. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.
Can I upgrade from double to single occupancy?
Yes — subject to availability. Upgrades must be requested by August 17, 2026 (60 days before departure). Contact your travel team to upgrade.
What should I budget beyond the trip price?
Budget $30–$60 per day for meals, plus personal shopping money (Ghana has incredible fabrics and crafts!). Gratuities and travel insurance are also not included.
How many spots are available?
This is a curated group experience — we budgeted for 10 but will accept additional travelers on a first-come, first-served basis. Same price for all. Your $300 deposit is the only thing that reserves your place.
